SUSPENSION SERVICING

Suspension servicing is a detailed and specialized task.

Whether you're searching for suspension shops nearby or need a shock rebuild service from afar, it’s always best to entrust the job to professionals. At TFX Suspension, we provide expert suspension services designed to improve, upgrade, and restore your system. Whether you’re looking for a motorcycle suspension setup in your area, an auto suspension service from a distance, or shock servicing no matter where you are, we’ve got you covered.

We have extensive knowledge of shock absorbers and front forks from OEM brands such as KYB, Showa, BMW ESA, and competitors like Öhlins, Hyperpro, Tractive, and Wilbers. If you're wondering about shock absorber replacement cost or seeking a custom suspension shop, we can help. We even rebuild ALL BMW ESA shocks, including those your dealer says are not rebuildable, and supply new springs for the OEM ESA shocks.

Unfortunately, suspension service is often overlooked, leading to a loss in handling, steering, or braking characteristics. A preventative maintenance approach will save you money in the long run. If you need suspension rebuild or atv shock rebuild, you’re in the right place. Shock absorber internals wear increases when suspension oil becomes contaminated, and the effectiveness of the oil is reduced, impacting your motorcycle suspension settings and resulting in a harsh ride.

Your shock absorber needs a service every 2-4 years or 35,000 km to keep it functioning optimally. If you use your motorcycle or ATV in extreme conditions, more frequent servicing might be necessary. If you're looking for motorcycle suspension service, custom suspension shops, or want to know about setting of motorcycle suspension or adjusting motorcycle suspension, we have the expertise you need.

At TFX Suspension, we pride ourselves on our detailed approach. Our shock rebuild service begins with fully stripping the shock to its bare components. All parts are cleaned, degreased, and inspected for wear. The piston/valve assemblies are disassembled from the shock shaft, the pistons are faced to ensure optimum sealing of the face shims and all shims are checked to ensure their integrity (if required shims will be replaced). Finally the piston band is replaced with a PTFE low friction band where applicable and the bump rubber is replaced if required.

Most shock absorber rebuilds are completed and posted for return shipping in less than 10 business days of receipt by us. In the rare event we cannot meet our deadline, or if your shock needs extra attention or parts, you will be informed by email or phone call about the specifics.

***IF YOU NEGLECT TO CLEAN YOUR SHOCK BEFORE SENDING IT TO US, WE WILL CHARGE YOU A CLEANING FEE, TO SEND YOUR SHOCK COVERED IN MUD IS NOT ACCEPTABLE***
